NOTE: For more "Financial Funnies" cartoons, go to www.kluth.org/cartoons.htm In Isaiah 45:3 God says, "I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness--secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the LORD...the one who calls you by name." Did you know that…
Christ-centered professional estate planning is beneficial to everyone; whether a person is nearing the end of their lives and need to get their affairs in order, are in their fifties and approaching retirement, or are younger families busy raising children. In all seasons of life, it is vital for everyone to do basic estate planning. Decisions about who will be the executor of their estate, who will be the guardian of younger children, how far they want the medical establishment to go in keeping them alive, who will receive sentimental or treasured possessions, what amount of resources are to be given to loved ones, and how they want to honor the Lord by remembering their church and Christian ministries in their estate plans is all prayerfully resolved in Christian-based estate planning. Without Christ-centered estate planning in place, the family members left behind after a death of a loved one often find themselves confused, struggling, quarreling, shocked, and upset by what happens at the end of someone's life. Also, the church and ministries that people supported over their lifetime, are not honored with a portion of the accumulated or appreciated resources that God gave them over their lifetime. But now, all of this hurt, headache, and heartache can be avoided. Today, churches can poise themselves to stand in this critical gap. Even among churches that have been financially struggling for a long time, now is the time for them to hear the Master's words to "cast their nets on the other side" of their church's financial boat. For years, churches have encouraged faithful giving from people's income. But now it is time to also encourage faithful giving to the Lord from people's estates, while they are living and at their home going. Thanks to the dedicated work of PhilanthroCorp, many churches will now be able to provide web-based biblical insights, helpful estate planning resources, and professional referrals to Christian attorneys and estate planners. This will help drastically change the outcome of what happens near the end of someone's life and after they have died. The strategic impact of this help will have a positive long-term impact on a person's family members, church, and the ministries they cared about. Stewardship Pastor Don Mann of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC says: "The enormous wealth that now exists in this country is not concentrated in the treasuries of an aristocracy, the fortunes of corporations, or the vaults of government. It exists in large part in the savings and assets of a generation that endured a severe depression, sacrificed life in a global war, built our infrastructure, and now fill the pews of our churches” It is this generation's financial legacy (trillions of dollars of accumulated and appreciated assets and financial resources), which stands poised to be transferred to the next generation. Without helpful estate planning guidance, these resources will likely become windfall profits for the government without ever benefiting the Lord's work in any way. PhilanthroCorp, a quality Christian organizations that has serves Christian ministries nationwide, has developed a web-based resource, called PCX. These valuable PCX web resources can be attached to a church's existing website and supplies all the tools, information, study courses, seminars, and expert Christian guidance and assistance without the high costs and complexity normally associated with estate planning. To receive an email that will provide you with a website link that will allow you to freely access a demo version of these church-based web-based estate planning resources that can benefit your people and your church, CLICK HERE.
