WE PRAISE GOD FOR...
The outpouring of love and support we've been feeling from friends and family in our church, around the country, and around the world. We feel like George Bailey's family at the end of the old movie, "It's A Wonderful Life."
The Lord's presence and peace that we are experiencing in the midst of this new and unexpected chapter of our lives.
The assurance that regardless of whatever happens, we have a reserved place in heaven because of what Jesus Christ has done for us and our relationship with Him.
A wonderful 20 year marriage relationship and our marriage vows when we promised we would be there for each other "in sickness and health, in good times and bad"!
A tremendous church congregation, family, relatives and friends whose love, prayers, acts of kindness and support will be part of God's way of helping to carry us through this time.
Our precious children (Josh 10, Bethany 8, Jeremy 6) that "circled around Mommy" when they heard the news. Each of our children took time to personally lay their hands on Mommy and pray for God's help and healing. Plus Leana Daza from Colombia (24 years old) who lives with us, and her sister Lisa and husband who live nearby and have offered to be of help to us.

WE INVITE YOUR PRAYERS FOR...
The continued peace and presence of Christ in our lives and in our home.
That our faith in the Lord and our love for the Lord would be a help and encouragement to others during this journey.
For God's healing power to be released in Sandi's body.
For Sandi's body to respond positively to the next 9 months of treatments (i.e. 6 months of chemotherapy, removal of one or both of her breasts in June, and then radiation in July and August).
For God's resources and financial provisions along the way for whatever we need.
For the love, goodness and power of God to be experienced by our children as they have to go through this journey with us.
For God to work mightily in our church and community as we trust in His leadership during this season of our lives.
"On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." 2 Cor 1:10-11
