God's Way

1 – SPEND it all

Save for the FUTURE

Prov 21:20 The wise man saves for the future, but the foolish man spends whatever he gets. Prov 22:3 A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. Ecc 5:11 The more you have, the more you spend, right up to the limits of your income.

2 - FEAR of loss or hard times

FAITH in God to provide

Ps 37:18-19 The Lord cares (for the godly) even when times are hard; even in famine, they will have enough. Ps 33:18-19 The eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to...keep them alive in famine. Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or...famine...? 4 – Keeping up with YOUR NEIGHBORS

Ex 20:17 "Do not covet your neighbor's house…or anything else your neighbor owns." Ecc 2:26 To the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. Prov 13:22 A sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous. Ps 105:44 (God's people) fell heir to what others had toiled for. 5 - ARGUING about $

AGREEING in prayer

Pr 15:16-17 Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great wealth with turmoil. Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred. 1 Pet 3:7 Husbands... be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect...so that nothing will hinder your prayers. Ps 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. Isa 59:2 The trouble is that your sins have cut you off from God. Because of sin he has turned his face away from you. Rom 10:13 Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
