"The Road to
Recovery"- Sandi's
Cancer Updates
"You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God
turns my darkness into light.
As for God, his way is perfect; He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect."
Psalm
18
For visitors who are coming to this site that do not know Sandi or Brian personally, here's some helpful information: The day before Thanksgiving (11/27/02), Sandi was diagnosed with a rare, serious and life threatening form of cancer, called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Brian and Sandi are both 47, have been happily married for 20 years, and have 3 children (2 adopted and 1 natural child - Joshua 10, Bethany 8, Jeremy 6)). Over the years, they have been involved in Christian ministry locally, nationally and internationally. For 10 years, they worked at a Christian camp in Wisconsin called Fort Wilderness. For 5 1/2 years, Brian was the national president of the Christian Stewardship Association. For 8 years, they were actively involved at Harvest Community Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They have traveled and ministered across America and in more than 25 countries. Brian has done a lot of teaching on financial matters and he is heard on Christian radio through the broadcast ministry of Larry Burkett and Crown Financial Ministries. Brian is now the Senior Pastor at the First Evangelical Free Church in Colorado Springs. This website was setup to provide help and hope for people who love Sandi and/or for people who want to know about Sandi's journey of faith, prayer and victory through a life threatening battle with cancer.
